Elements of Art
In class we will be using the follow medium and you will be creating your own works of art with each. High school calsses will work with acrylic paints, watercolors, fibers, 3-D designs, clay, collage and more. The Elementary class will be discovering watercolors, clay, tempra paints, weaving, chalk pastels, and more.
Sculpture I-II
open to 9th thru 12th grade
This class is the study of 3D and 2D work. The students will create dimensional works. We explore clay, sculpture, relief, fibers and learn about differents artists.
Upper Elementary: 6th grade thru 4th grade
Students will use new materials and techniques to create artworks. We will explore, collages, clay, painting, fiberarts and more
Art I and II
High school students will create works from paper, paint, clay, ink, and use techniques such as collage, quilling, acrylic and watercolor painting, handbuilding, printmaking and 3D sculptures.
Students will also have pieces in the Ozarks 7 District Art Show.
Junior High Classes: 7th and 8th grades
Classes will build on skills and work with acrylic paints, watercolors, clay and create 3D sculptures. We will learn about differents artists and their works of art.
Lower Elementary: Pre-K thru 3rd grade
Classes will learn about elements and principles of art. These are the foundations for the visual arts. Students will use crayons, tempra paints, watercolors, colored paper, yarn, scissors, glue, clay and other materials. We will draw, color and create all year.
